Christina Hahn
Founder, President
Christina J. Hahn is an artist, independent curator, and AAPI community builder based in Dallas, Texas. She is the Founder of the Dallas Asian American Art Collective and the Creative Director of the Dallas Asian American Historical Society (DAAHS). Hahn builds an imaginary universe blending Korean mythology with Texas folklore through a multidisciplinary approach, ranging from fiber arts, painting, printmaking, and film.
Hahn was a Cohort 4 Artist in Residence at the Cedars Union Art Incubator (CU) and awarded the Anne & Arch Giles Kimbrough Grant by the Dallas Museum of Art. Her work has been shown in AURORA's Video Art Night, the Other Art Fair: Dallas, Arts Fort Worth, 400h Gallery, Adolphus Gallery, and the Oak Cliff Assembly. She currently serves on the DFW Airport’s Art Advisory.
Jennifer Kong

Jennifer Kong is a second generation Chinese American artist & designer. She received her BFA in Fine Arts and Human Computer Interaction at Carnegie Mellon University, where her work focused on the influence of western media within her cultural roots. She is an active member of equality groups within her work place and has previously served in non profits focused on accessible education.
Sara Wong
Events Coordinator
Sara Wong is a second generation Malaysian Chinese American artist and designer born and raised in Plano, Texas. She received her BA in Design at The University of Texas in Austin with a focus on Game and Mobile Media Applications. Growing up in the area she always wanted an Asian American Arts community to relate and collaborate with, which led her to becoming part of DAAART. Sara Wong is a full time UI Designer and part time artist that vends at various anime and gaming expositions.
Alex Nguyen
Co-Founder, Public Relations
Alex founded The Boba Plug, an Asian American creative boba shop in 2020. He is young and driven and passionate about serving his customers. Multi-disciplinary marketing consultant with over 13+ years of experience in areas such as restaurant, beauty, consumer packaged goods and nonprofit organizations. Alex has demonstrated the ability to bridge different industries together to amplify AAPI voices.
Vivian Luu

Vivian Luu is a designer, photographer, and entrepreneur. She graduated from UC Davis with a Bachelor in Design and minor in Asian American Studies. She is currently building a boba business in Dallas that brings community, art, and cultures together through the medium of boba.
Faraaz Nadeem

Faraaz Nadeem is a second generation Pakistani American who has a passion for community building and a great appreciation for the arts. After his time at the University of Texas at Dallas building community through various Asian American student associations he joined DAAART to find that part of himself again. In his free time, he is heavily involved in the Twitch art community and streams himself creating pixel art.
Veronica Pamindanan

Veronica is a poet, leader, event planner and more. Veronica works with Dallas Schools to teach creative writing and performs poetry for them. As a community builder, her goal is to provide tools for upcoming artists that will help them build a foundation in their career. She enjoys connecting and curating events for others to come together in a creative fashion that spark communities. With each new collaboration, she will be bridging new opportunities and resources in the community.
Ben Hong
Finance Chair
Benjamin Hong is an aspiring CPA and musician, who graduated with an MBA from UT Dallas. After learning about DAAART and its supportive community, he has dedicated his time and past experience as an project coordinator to assist DAAART with its operations and navigating the complicated world of non-profit accounting. He looks forward to helping DAAART develop a collaborative AAPI music scene.
Leili Tavallaei
Fine Arts Program Manager
Leili Arai Tavallaei is an interdisciplinary artist and independent curator of Persian-Japanese-American descent working at the intersection of Arts and Technology. She received a BFA in Animation with a Minor in Printmaking from the Maryland Institute College of Art where she founded the Brown Asian Student Union, advocated for students of color alongside the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, and organized Arts Exhibitions across campus. At present she is a Dallas Asian American Historical Society 2025 Artist in Residence and works as a Project Manager at an innovation driven tech start-up. She is a Cedars Union 2023-24 Cohort 4 Alumni, Islam & Print 2022 Cohort Alumni, and has been shown in galleries and film festivals across the United States such as NASA Goddard, Erin Cluley Gallery, and the historic Parkway Theater in Baltimore. Ultimately, Tavallaei aims to honor, preserve, and amplify mixed race narratives and their influence on culture today.
